The Righteously Outrageous Twirling Corps of Salt Lake City (ROTC SLC) is looking for members, male and female, straight or gay, ages 18 and over, who would like to entertain thousands of people in various parades and shows. No experience in spinning a flag or rifle is necessary; we supply the training! If you have experience in theatre/dance, drum corps, winter guard, and marching band then that's a bonus! ALL ARE WELCOME! ROTC Salt Lake City is for those new to the activity as well as the seasoned spinner. No experience in spinning for flag is necessary; we supply the training. However; to perform with a rifle some background is needed. If you have no background with the rifle you can still learn but will not be able to perform until a showmanship level is met. In order to manage expectations and preserve the image of the ROTC Salt Lake City, a minimum skill level to perform with the group will be enforced. ** NEW THIS YEAR ** - Anyone 50 miles outside of the Salt Lake City area can still join our group as a "Virtual Member" We also require Volunteer Support Staff to help behind the scenes.
